Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Housing Authority's public housing programs, which encompass the maintenance and management of conventional public housing developments. You will also collaborate with other department managers and supervisors as necessary, addressing areas such as personnel management, budgeting, purchasing, accounting, audit participation, data processing, social services, emergency housing, tenant assignments, and resident orientation. Your position will require close cooperation with city officials, community organizations, and various city agencies. A critical aspect of your responsibilities will be to ensure that both the staff and the Chester Housing Authority adhere to agency policies and procedures, as well as comply with HUD requirements and federal regulations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Salary:

Five years of professional administrative experience in subsidized housing or residential property management;

orTwo years as a Property Manager;

orOne year of professional administrative experience in subsidized housing or in residential property management and a bachelor’s degree.Other Requirements:
