If this sounds exciting to you, please apply!ROLE:We are seeking a highly-organized, reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor / Post Production Coordinator to be the right hand for our Head of Production/Supervising Editor. This person will assist in coordinating the efforts of a 10+ person post-production team that generates hundreds of deliverables for dozens of clients each month in a rapidly growing, highly in-demand, story-driven social media marketing and commercial production agency.This position will require proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro for simple edits, revisions, and exports. However, the main priority and function of this position will be coordinating our systems and processes for uploading, organizing, and distributing footage to our team of editors, as well as communicating details regarding tasks and deliverables between editors and staff, managing workflows/deadlines, and helping our Supervising Editor QC (quality check) and deliver finished projects directly to clients.Responsibilities:Project organization/managementCommunication between production and post-production teamsProject assignment, delivery and distribution to editing teamTracking editor deadlinesDevelop standard operating proceduresBasic video editing skillsColor correction and gradingSound enhancementDelivery of content to clientsQualifications:Adobe Premiere Pro knowledgeFamiliarity with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detailAbility to meet deadlinesGraphic Design Skills (a plus) - Photoshop, Illustrator, Etc.*Editing experience w/ Adobe Premiere Pro a MAJOR plus but not required — if you’re the right personality/organizational fit, and willing to learn — we can teach you!EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:Compensation:

Starting: $22-25/hour || $45,000-52,000/year*Potential for $60,000-65,000/year + Performance Pay within 12 monthsThis is Currently a Freelance / Independent Contractor position**Potential to transition into a W2 salary + benefits within 12 months***LOCAL HIRES ONLY***
