The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and overseeing all sales and marketing activities at Ryan Lawn and Tree. This position will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a competitive, seasoned leader with a proven track record of success preferably in the lawn and landscape industry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support to ensure team success company-wide.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Leverage Salesforce and other tools to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and maximize return on investment.

Identify and implement opportunities to improve the marketing-sales-production cycle, reducing friction and enhancing customer experience.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify existing business opportunities, new business opportunities, and stay abreast of industry trends.

Monitor and analyze marketing to sales performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Engage with Sales and Marketing teams and activities company-wide requiring travel to all Ryan locations.

Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and high performance. Use the Level 5 Sales Training to promote uniformity in processes and create value for our customers.

Lead the development and implementation of sales and marketing budgets that align with the company's strategic priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior sales leadership roles with a preference towards the lawn and landscape industry.

Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management systems (preferably Salesforce), and marketing best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in scaling a sales organization from a regional to national level.

Knowledge of the lawn and landscape industry, including services, pricing, and market dynamics.

Experience with Salesforce and other sales and marketing enablement tools.

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
