The User Experience Designer will advocate for our clients, creating user experiences that show our dedication to giving our clients an advantage at every step. They will conceptualize these experiences through collaboration, sketching, storyboarding, information modeling and other methods.Candidates should possess an extensive knowledge of the design thinking process and the ability to deliver high-quality experiences that organize transactional activities into well-integrated systems that solve client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with marketing, product and technology partners to fully understand the customer journey, potential gaps, and opportunitiesDevelop artifacts ranging from low- to high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, visual designs, specifications, annotations, and other documentation as needed throughout the design process to appropriately communicate the experienceCreate experiences that adapt to all supported devices and viewportsExplore new opportunities for the design system to ensure not only brand continuity, but its evolution to meet new user expectationsContinually explore the competitive landscape and trends within the financial service marketMaintain a working knowledge of emerging user interface, interaction design standards and best practicesPartner with technology to ensure technical feasibility and expected implementation of the designRequired skills:

Experience with FigmaAbility to clearly and effectively communicate design solutionsFlexibility to iterate on experiences, negotiating feedback from collaborative partners in real timeAbility to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligentlyAbility to receive constructive feedback and implement changes as necessaryTalent for presenting creative work, highlighting both the customer journey and design rationaleEffective interpersonal and communication skillsStrong initiative and work ethic to meet critical project deadlinesComfortable working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment

Preferred skills:

Experience with interaction design, information architecture, and/or product designExperience within financial services or other highly regulated industryExperience with web technologies (HTML/CSS)Experience with Miro and JIRAExperience with agile methodologies

the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
