Our lines include denim jeans, high-fashion tops and dresses for juniors and young women, and men's streetwear.What is the Role?We are looking for an Associate Technical Designer to join our design team. You will be responsible for trend forecast and design, creating technical sketches, overseeing design and development processes, and managing design development with overseas factories. WOMEN'S CONTEMPORARY ASSOCIATE DESIGNERKey Accountabilities:Assist Designers in market research, trend presentations, and sourcing all raw materialsCreate CAD sketches of styles in developmentEnsure the accuracy of technical packs, which include detailed sketches, fabric and garment construction, and trim pages and placementMeet all deadlines in adherence to the seasonal design calendarContribute to the creation and design of linesSet up seasonal presentation(s)Assist in maintaining link files, assortment boards, fabric and color library, design archives library, and inspiration boardsTrack the weekly sample schedule to ensure relevant deadlines and milestones are being met, appropriate files are shared, and help to communicate updates accordinglyRequired Skills/Abilities/Education:Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design with a strong knowledge of garment construction, 2+ years of experience in the fashion industry as an Assistant or Associate DesignerProficient in Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent organizational, communication, presentation skills with attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsEntrepreneurial spirit and passion for apparel business and ability to work effectively as a team player.Must be flexible and adapt well to fast paced, rapidly changing work environmentBrand appropriate aesthetic and ability to sketch brand right designsAndromeda program is a plusExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience working with overseas factories in China and India.Interested in joining the team?Please email your resume to David at careers@ with the subject line Associate Apparel Designer-
