Shipping with Walmart is a one-stop shipping and fulfillment solution from Walmart Marketplace for both domestic and international sellers. We are launching multiple 0-to-1 products and need a Sr. Product Marketing Manager who can roll up their sleeves and work across multiple teams including Product, Business, Sales, Tech, User Experience, Legal, and Seller Growth teams to inform Product Roadmap, build a cohesive Go to Market plans, as well as build seller facing content for launches.

As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will conduct market and competitive landscaping, define target segments and personas, craft unique value propositions and drive integrated product marketing campaigns as well as be a thought leader who helps define the next suite of Products and capabilities to meet sellers and customer needs.

You will make an impact in these highly critical areas:

Product Messaging & Positioning:

Create comprehensive messaging frameworks that articulate Walmart product's features, benefits, and differentiation points. This includes identifying key messaging pillars and mapping them to various customer personas and use cases.

Lead messaging and positioning efforts for new product launches or feature releases. Develop launch plans that outline messaging strategies, communication channels, and rollout timelines to generate excitement and drive adoption.

Work closely with product development teams to understand the product roadmap, features, and functionalities. Translate technical specifications into customer-centric messaging that resonates with the target audience.

Collaborate closely with product management, Account Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product positioning and messaging.

Market Research & Customer Insights:

Conduct deep seller/customer research to gain insights into product adoption, seller needs, and user pain points.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and product differentiators.

Use insights to inform inbound product marketing efforts, tailoring content and campaigns to address seller needs and challenges.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.

Define target segments, value propositions and distribution channels to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Partner with Account Management and GTM partner teams to drive awareness, generate leads, and enable sales effectiveness.

Gather feedback from sellers, Account Management teams, and other stakeholders to continuously iterate on the GTM strategy and improve future launches. Incorporate learnings to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market approaches.

Commercial Readiness:

Work closely with the product team to assess the commercial readiness of new features, ensuring they meet the requirements for general availability (GA) before launch.

Ensure the smooth roll-out of product features by coordinating marketing, GTM, and Account Management teams to support commercial launches.

Product Education & Sales Enablement:

Create comprehensive sales enablement resources such as sales decks, battle cards, product guides, FAQs, and objection handling documents. These materials should provide sales teams with the necessary information to effectively communicate the value proposition and features of the product.

Partner to create product-related content and assets such as solution sheets, demo videos, and case studies to support marketing and sales efforts.

Lead the creation of customer case studies and testimonials to demonstrate product value and encourage adoption; co-conduct product training sessions with the product owners to ensure a deep understanding of our products and their value proposition.

Adoption and Marketing Funnel Performance:

Develop and implement robust adoption strategies that drive customer engagement, increase product utilization, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth for the product pillar.

Oversee the performance of marketing funnels, identify bottlenecks, and implement initiatives to optimize conversion rates at each stage.

Work closely with the analytics team to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product adoption and marketing funnel performance.

Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies aimed at reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value.

Preferred qualifications and experiences (not all required):

Master's degree in business administration with 6+ years of experience or 8+ years of hands-on experience in product marketing or related roles.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies in an e-commerce, or marketplace environment. Experience in shipping and fulfillment space is preferred but not required.

Experience in collaborating cross-culturally with marketing teams in the US, China, and/or India. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not required.

Experience working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and other teams to drive product success.

Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive landscape.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging.

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot a plus), CRM systems, and other marketing technology tools.

Willingness to travel for events, customer meetings, and team collaboration, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00



Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
