The Python Web Developer performs complex web development work, including development, coding, code validation, accessibility remediation and planning in order to produce accessible web projects using the Django framework.
Years Required/Preferred Experience
5 Years - Required Five years of experience in web or software development. Experience may have occurred concurrently.
3 Years --Required Three years of experience using Javascript.
2 Years ---Required Sixty semester credit hours from an accredite d college or university with major coursework i n Web Design, Web Development, Web Acce ssibility, Programming, Emerging Media, Grap hic Design, Computer or related field.
1 Year --- Required One year of experience web development wit h Python.
1 Year --Required One additional year web development or web design work may substitute for thirty semester hours of the required experience, with a maxi mum substitution of 120 semester hours.
1 Year --Preferred Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree with major coursework in Web Design, Web Development, Programmin g, Emerging Media, Graphic Design, Comput er or related field.
1 year --Preferred Experience developing in PHP, designing and using REST APIs, with SQL database, with Dj ango or other python web frameworks, using the Linux command line for web development.
1 Year ---Preferred Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and P ython for creation of web pages/web sites, wit h ability to code for web browsers across mult iple platforms and versions. Knowledge of we b standards and accessibility requirements wit h ability to use validation .
1 Year ---Preferred Skill in developing Python scripts for web dev elopment.
1 Year --Preferred Ability to code, test, validate, and troubleshoot web pages. Ability to code, test, validate, and troubleshoot python scripts. Ability to turn wire frames and graphic designs into working web pages.
