Our client in Washington, DC is seeking a UX Researcher/User Testing Specialist to join their team. As a User Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the usability and effectiveness of the application by conducting user testing and gathering valuable insights. You will collaborate closely with the project team to provide actionable recommendations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our application's user experience. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our application meets the needs and expectations of our users.

What's the Job?
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather valuable insights
Collaborate with the project team to provide actionable recommendations for improving the user experience
Plan, execute, and analyze user testing sessions using qualitative and quantitative research methods
Identify usability issues and provide actionable recommendations for improving the user experience
Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines
What's Needed?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Psychology, User Experience Design, or a related field
Proven experience in conducting user research and usability testing, preferably in a software or application development environment
In-depth knowledge of various user research methodologies, techniques, and best practices
Proficiency in planning, executing, and analyzing user testing sessions, including qualitative and quantitative research methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and extract meaningful insights
