Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Visualization Engineer. We are seeking a Visualization Engineer that will drive our portfolio reporting visualization strategy execution. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast paced environments, has the proven ability to build reports that drive insights into action, and has a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities:In this role, the Visualization Engineer will build and deploy data visualization products including performance management dashboards, self-service reports, program monitoring dashboards, exception-based reporting and models that deliver automated insights within a focused area of the businessServe as a subject matter expert on the development of robust data visualization and dashboarding solutions and create solution documentation for future maintenanceAssist in eliciting reporting requirements with other team members to improve our existing dashboard based on stakeholder feedbackCollaborate with team members and key partners to ensure reporting solutions meet functional requirements with successful testing for accuracy and performanceThe Visualization Engineer will help to improve our teams reporting automation (currently built on Smartsheet)Apply expertise to collaborate with key partners to understand requirements for reports and interactive dashboards, deliver incremental value, drive knowledge into action, and support data driven decision making
Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training * Experience using Power BI or Tableau to ingest data and develop intuitive dashboards and self-service tools * Ability to create effective measures in either BI tool to achieve the desired visual result * Solid experience in using data visualization and dashboarding techniques to make sophisticated data more accessible, understandable and usable to drive business decisions and outcomes * Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, JS/React, Domo, SQL or similar tools * Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to communicate both verbally and in written forms with senior leaders * Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks; Must be comfortable with ambiguity and be resourceful enough to identify and act on solutions independently * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team environment * Advanced-level Microsoft Excel and/or Smartsheet Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
