Tahoe Donner Association is looking for a high energy Digital Marketing and Community Lead to join our summer Marketing Communications Department! The Digital Marketing and Community Lead is responsible for driving the implementation of key initiatives that include email marketing, social media, event sponsorships, surveys, website updates and analytics. This position collaborates closely with other team members to ensure the department is building and creating impactful experiences and campaigns across these platforms that effectively communicate important Tahoe Donner Programs and initiatives to the membership, public and key stakeholders.

We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities: Consistency and Reliability Cheerful and Positive Attitude Energetic and outgoing personality Values Teamwork Loves Serving and Helping Others We are looking for the following qualifications: Three to Five+ years’ experience on a marketing or agency team with a proven track record and timely examples Solid understanding of marketing and communications best practices across website, print and digital advertising and social media and have a track record to prove it. Experience managing Google and Meta paid ad campaigns, with current examples. Experience managing social media platforms for a brand/organization, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Nextdoor, and Vimeo, with current examples. Experience as the point of contact to an agency and events liaison and ensuring campaigns are executed, and sponsorship commitments are fulfilled. Experience with membership organizations, board of director governance and private amenity communities. Solid understanding of modern content strategy and creation. Writing skills, including appropriate grammar, punctuation, and syntax in AP and Tahoe Donner style guidelines. Creative eye and ability to help/drive the creative process. Experience with InDesign, Photoshop and other design platforms is preferred. Ability to manage and lead projects, including management of external resources, contractors and vendors. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are a MUST. Strong communication skills and proactive mentality. Knowledge of analytics and reporting, performance metrics and surveys and past examples of reporting management. Solid understanding of a lifestyle brand and marketing strategy for a targeted audience. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, hit deadlines and manage time appropriately. Creativity, high energy, positivity and teamwork are a must to be part of this exciting marketing team! This position requires initiative and a creative sensibility. Knowledge of Creative and Business Software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, MailChimp, WordPress and Basecamp. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, marketing, public relations graphic design, digital media, social media or related field and one-year relevant experience in photography, editing and/or organizational duties or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
