Vice President of Digital Marketing

For the past six decades, The FESCO Group has become a top international manufacturer of consumer electronics with over 3,000 products and 15 leading brands, including Car & Driver, Perry Ellis, Bella Ciao, Epilady, ChargeWorx, and Coby Audio. We are now looking to aggressively build up our eCommerce business, Social Media reach, and B2B Beauty Category sales.

Reporting to our Senior Management Team & CEO, our new VP of Digital Marketing will develop, implement and oversee our long-term digital marketing strategy and short-term advertising initiatives. This role requires enhancing brand/product awareness, driving traffic to the company's website (including stand-alone, DTC brand websites), daily management of social media channels, and generating eCommerce and B2B sales.

(This position is a fully on-site role, at our East Williamsburgh/Brooklyn, NY office. Additionally, we do not have the budget for this position to relocate candidates to our area nor sponsor any necessary work visas.)

Primary Responsibilities:

Set digital marketing strategies using all necessary methods and instruments (e.g. brand websites, Amazon tools, PPC, emails, social media (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google/YouTube), SEO Optimization, Google Analytics, podcasts, vlogs, blogs, etc.)

Create a unique social strategy (paid/organic) across all digital platforms with the goal of driving meaningful social media engagement, increasing brand and product awareness, and generating significant audience growth.

Drive creative strategy and lead the team in developing edgy and creative content that embodies our brand's voice, storylines, value, and overall aesthetic.

Develop monthly content calendars inclusive of all key product launches, culturally relevant moments, and branded content series (all platforms).

Propose real-time content based on social media trends and relevant trending conversations.

Continuously improve content concepts by analyzing performance metrics (KPIs), evaluating ROI, assessing competitors’ social and digital landscape, and embracing the latest features across various digital platforms.

Optimize the user experience on the company's websites and assist with landing page creation.

Research and track consumer purchase behavior.

Build a function and a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA in digital marketing, marketing, advertising, or related discipline.

At least 5+ years of recent and expert knowledge of, and experience in, digital marketing, social media, digital content creation, and brand marketing within the hard-goods consumer products industry (consumer electronics preferred).

Demonstrated experience and success in Consumer Products and "Hard Goods" is an absolute requirement.

Experience in brand marketing analytics and in using web analytic tools.

Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Possesses strong project management skills, managing multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present and explain technical and business information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.

Must have a high degree of motivation and work well both as an individual and within a team environment.

Familiarity with reading and interpreting social listening and digital analytics.
