In order to accelerate the next phase of Amazon Ads development, we are committed to transforming the depth, scale, and ambition of our partnerships with a diverse landscape of partners across a full range of independent agencies, as well as Tech Partners. Our team builds partnerships across the advertising landscape to drive innovation and growth for all brands, including those that do not sell on Amazon.com.The Amazon Ads Partner Marketing Team enhances partner expertise, capabilities, and visibility through bespoke marketing programs that foster growth for advertisers, partners, and Amazon Ads. We are looking for an experienced and self-starting Sr. Partner Marketing Manager to lead life-stage marketing for our Amazon Ads partners in Japan. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies that support partners across different stages to help them grow, optimize performance, and diversify their offerings.Based on the overall Amazon Ads vision, you will address both regional business needs and the specific requirements of partners. Your work will directly impact how partners leverage Amazon Ads to drive growth and customer value. Due to time zone differences with your manager who will be in Seattle, WA, you will need to work independently and own the full partner life-stage while ensuring alignment with Amazon Ads’ global strategies.Key job responsibilities
Understand Partner Needs: Develop tailored marketing programs that address the challenges of partners by helping them grow in areas such as customer acquisition, content creation, and channel expansion.Drive Success and Accountability: Lead the success of each partner cohort, ensuring that all partners are well-supported and set up for long-term growth.Develop Customized Strategies: Design and implement marketing strategies that align with both regional business needs and the global goals of Amazon Ads.Foster Strong Relationships: Build and maintain trust-based relationships with partners and internal teams to drive success.Work Independently and Proactively: Operate autonomously, making informed decisions to address partner needs and solve problems effectively.Collaborate Across Borders: Work with global Amazon Ads teams to ensure regional initiatives align with the company’s larger strategy while advocating for the unique needs of partners in Japan.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceExperience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programsExperience using data and metrics to drive improvementsSpeak, write, and read fluently in JapaneseProven ability to work independently, managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Speak, write, and read fluently in EnglishExperience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/servicesExperience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with a global footprintExperience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadershipExperience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languagesExperience in partner marketing within a technology, advertising, or SaaS environment.Posted:
