Our commitment to diversity is further reflected in BHCC's designation as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI).Job Description:Adjunct Instructor Needed for Fall 2024The Environmental Science Department is seeking an adjunct professor to teach an Introduction to GIS (GIS-224) course that supports majors in the Environmental Science Program and students in meeting their General Education Program Requirements. GIS-224 is a 4-credit course that introduces the fundamental concepts and tools of geospatial analysis and cartographic design in GIS. Through a series of lectures and web modules offered online, and hands-on computer-based exercises offered on campus, students will learn the essential elements of GIS.
