Park & Fine Literary and Media is seeking an organized, motivated person to assist the Managing Partner and serve as a Coordinator for the Strategy and Services Department and across various publications. This unique role offers the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and work with books and authors across the company.

The role:

  1. Heavily weighted toward providing extensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, department note-taking, preparing documents, gathering and collating internal and external sales data and other information, and circulating materials for approval; Minor office administrative duties required.
  2. Handles all scheduling requests when coordinating professional/personal calendars, anticipates scheduling conflicts and changes, as well as other needs;
  3. Assists with creation of department and company-wide resources, including sales reports and updates, competitive landscape, informational materials, publishing timelines, weekly newsletters etc.;
  4. Creates, reviews, and organizes internal sales reports and publication materials;
  5. Communicates extensively with other internal departments at PFLM including partners, agents, finance, foreign rights, and operations/business affairs

Your profile:

  1. 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience;
  2. Minimum 2 years’ work experience, via internship or employment;
  3. Background in the entertainment field preferred, with experience in publishing given preference;
  4. Executive assistant experience a plus;
  5. Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills;
  6. Social media and tech savvy;
  7. Exceptional attention-to-detail and ability to multi-task;
  8. Self-motivated with a “figure it out” mentality;
  9. Motivated to brainstorm ideas and ways to grow and improve sales and exposure for authors;
  10. Utilizes tact, discretion and good judgment at all times, especially when exposed to confidential or sensitive material;
  11. Energized and able to anticipate needs of others;
  12. Personable, emotionally mature, and professional, with a positive attitude and ability to adapt and “roll with it”;
  13. Resourceful and solution-focused with the ability to work effectively with a myriad of personalities;
  14. Desire to learn and try new things;
  15. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint/Canva

SALARY: $55,000-60,000

BENEFITS: Health, vision, and dental insurance provided with premium paid by PFLM. 401(k) plan available after 1 full year of employment and discretionary bonus program.

VACATION / PTO: 13 days of paid vacation, 10 holidays + 1 floating holiday, PFLM closed between Christmas and New Year’s, Summer Fridays 9-1 from Memorial Day-Labor Day
