Job Responsibilities:
Increases loan portfolio by developing business contacts.Responsible for bringing SBA 7(a) loans and commercial real estate loans to the bank from the region assigned.Establish strong network and relationships with business brokers, loan brokers, CPAs, real estate agents, and other referral sources to market new loans.Ensure that all loans conform to the bank policy and credit standards, and compliant with all SBA, federal and state rules and regulations.
Loan Marketing Officer Job Duties:
Communicate with customers and collect loan application and loan processing documents.Analyze applicant’s financial status, credit standing, and property evaluations to determine financial capacity.Site visitation of new loans.Interacting with the loan manager(s) and underwriters to provide feedback and strengthen internal initiatives and external suggestions/requests.Meet overall bank sales goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance/accounting related field.Two (2) years minimum SBA lending experience in a commercial banking environment.Two (2) years minimum of demonstrated sales and business development experience with proven results.Two (2) years minimum of commercial lending with knowledge of the local market.Good organizational skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Proficiency in relevant computer applications.Preferred Bilingual English/Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean.
