SUMMARY:

The Senior Internal Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering internal communications strategies that inform, engage, and inspire Worldwide Clinical Trials employees around the world. This role is responsible for ensuring that internal messaging is clear, consistent, and reflects Worldwide's mission, values, and objectives. This role will work closely with stakeholders to foster a culture of transparency and collaboration. This position executes communications plans and creates key messages and content in support of business priorities, while driving increased employee engagement and connectedness which contributes to successful execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Tasks may include but are not limited to:

Execute the internal communications strategy that align goals and objectives to enterprise messaging in support of the company’s aspiration, purpose, values and strategic framework.

Generate compelling content and manage the distribution of internal communications materials, including newsletters, emails, intranet content, videos, and presentations.

Partner with stakeholders to support internal change management and projects communications, and employee engagement initiatives.

Drive execution of routine communication touchpoints (all hands meetings, webinars, focus groups, emails, intranet communications, events, newsletters and related internal communications) aligned with enterprise priorities.

Lead the planning, presentation development and successful execution and follow ups of communications deliverables.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and tactical execution. Make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Stay abreast of internal communications best practices and emerging trends and make recommendations for new integrated innovative approaches into Worldwide's communications efforts.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Proficient skills of Microsoft 365, including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom. Experience in Monday.com is a plus.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Critical thinker/analytical skills/business acumen.

Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.

Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and resonate with diverse audiences.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality communications deliverables under tight deadlines.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, effective team player and collaborator.

Demonstrated ability to partner with collaborators and other functions globally in a highly matrixed organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal communications or a related area.

Ability to execute on plan and work collaboratively across departments.

Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Experience with change management and employee engagement strategies.

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems, generative AI tools, and social media.

Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.
