Your interest in solving complex problems paired with your design acumen and compelling communication skills will allow you to achieve usable and technically sound digital experiences that exceed business and user needs.The incumbent will have the opportunity to create impactful experiences through curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.The Senior UX Designer plays a key role in designing and enhancing software applications, products, websites, and digital products across the organization. The incumbent possesses extensive knowledge and experience in UX/UI design principles, practices, and frameworks. The incumbent will work closely with users and key stakeholders across the organization (i.e., marketing and product management) to identify user needs, preferences, and pain points to develop solutions that provide seamless and engaging UX and UI. They will be responsible for creating high-quality design assets, including wireframes, storyboards, personas, prototypes, and design specifications, to guide the development process. Impact assessments should be conducted to document and articulate tradeoffs and considerations associated with design concepts. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for conducting user testing and usability studies to validate design decisions. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of user-focused design solutions that meet or exceed business objectives. They will foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation to drive consistency and design quality across applications and digital products. The Senior UX Designer will leverage their strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and solutions to key stakeholders, developers, and other members of the product team. They will work under the direction of their Manager to execute on design strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives and drive the delivery of high-quality digital products and services.Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.ResponsibilitiesConduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points for applicable systems and technology.Assist with discovery research to uncover user needs and generate deliverables like personas and journey maps to assist the design process.Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to design and improve software applications and websites.Document and align on acceptance criteria for UX/UI designs based on stakeholder needs and system capabilities.Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts. Assist with overall information architecture to create a user-friendly site structure.Communicate design specifications and articulate tradeoffs and considerations associated with design concepts.Conduct user testing and usability studies to validate design decisions.Contribute to the development of design patterns, style guides, and design systems to create consistency across products and services.Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal user experience.Execute workshops with stakeholders and end users to collaboratively document user information and co-create potential future visions.QualificationsEducationRequired

Bachelor's degree in design, business, Computer Science, psychology, anthropology, or human-computer interaction or in lieu of degree, at least 7 years of experience in designing digital user interfaces and user experiences.
