The position has been approved to be remote; however, the selected candidate will need to be located in the MD/DC/VA area to report onsite for occasional meetings.*This is a full-time temporary position that will last 8 weeks starting the last week of October 2024.What You'll Do:Originate and prepare written material, such as scripts, stories, advertisements, and other material.Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex programs.Consult with clients to define needs or problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.What You'll Bring:Minimum 2 years' experience.BA in English or Creative Writing.Ability to Obtain Public Trust/Secret if required.Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.Location Requirements:The position will primarily work remote.Compensation:Expected Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.EEO Commitment:Versar Global Solutions is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
