The position is ideal for someone with a technical degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science, and who is admitted to the USPTO.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and prosecute patent applications for clients, focusing on product design and user interface technologies.Provide patent counseling and strategic guidance to clients in areas such as software, artificial intelligence, IoT, networking, and quantum technologies.Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging technologies to ensure comprehensive patent protection.Collaborate closely with clients and internal legal teams to assess patent portfolios and provide technical expertise.Review and respond to communications from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), including office actions and examiner interviews.Develop and implement IP strategies for clients to protect their innovative technologies.Assist in patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate assessments.Ensure high-quality patent applications and legal documents, maintaining compliance with patent laws and regulations.Requirements:

2+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.Proven track record in patent counseling and providing strategic IP advice.JD (Juris Doctor) degree required.Admission to the USPTO is required.Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is highly preferred.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Education:

Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science.JD (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.Certifications:

Admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Preferred Skills and Experience:

Knowledge and experience in software-related technologies.Familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies and their applications.Experience with IoT, networking, and related technologies.Understanding of quantum technologies and their patent implications.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise patent applications.Excellent interpersonal skills for client interactions and teamwork.Job Location:
