Must be able to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a knack for translating complex technical information into understandable content, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Essential functions/responsibilities

Documentation Development:

Write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, training materials, and FAQs.Content Simplification:

Break down complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand content for various audiences, including end-users, developers, and internal teams.Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to gather information, understand technical details, and ensure the accuracy of documentation.Content Management:

Organize and manage the documentation process, ensuring all materials are up-to-date, consistent, and easily accessible.Review and Editing:

Proofread and edit documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with company standards and style guidelines.User Feedback:

Gather and incorporate feedback from end-users to continuously improve the quality and usability of documentation.Documentation Standards:

Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and best practices.Project Management:

Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.Experience:

3-6 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology or software development environment.Technical Skills:

Proficient in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.Writing Skills:

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and readability.Technical Aptitude:

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and visual formats.Collaboration:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and product managers.Attention to Detail:

A keen eye for detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality documentation.Time Management:

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications

Experience with software development or IT-related documentation.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development processes.Basic understanding of DevOps methodology and continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts and practices.Experience in creating multimedia content such as diagrams and video tutorials.Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.The base salary range for this position is: $81,037.05 – $114,232.95.This base salary range represents a general guideline.
