This company enjoys a global presence across its various offices located around the world, including London and Berlin. Their values are built on an ethos that supports a flexible work culture and diverse workplace, which are further enhanced by a stimulating atmosphere and fast paced growth.Our client is looking for a VP of Marketing to manage and build the wider marketing team within the US. Working as part of an efficient and likeminded team, you will be responsible for the success of growth marketing campaigns and for their strategic implementation to further broaden this company’s rapidly growing customer base.Key responsibilities:Responsible for being the key marketing strategist and thinking innovatively to develop both online and offline strategies to support the revenue goals of the companyMentoring, guiding and hiring new marketers with the team expected to double in size over the next yearBe the driving force behind the positioning of the company as the leading SaaS platform in the market and help to establish a highly effective marketing automation infrastructureReporting into the CRO and being an active member of the C-suite team in building a compelling proposition for the customersUpdating and delivering marketing reports, both annually and quarterly and conducting thorough user research to then suggest recommendations to the management teamKey requirements:At least 10 years marketing experience in a leadership roleMarketplace business experience is preferential and experience of B2B and B2C SaaS experience is a must – you must also have a proven track record of selling substantial annual contractsStrategist and planner with a passion for marketing and a determination to succeed and get things done quicklyPast record of growing and managing an effective team as well as experience of mentorship and coaching a teamExperience of using CRM platforms and other marketing tools is crucial and a knowledge of the relevant market trends will be helpful to heighten brand awareness to the relevant audiencesProficient communication skills with a history of working with various senior stakeholders are highly important in this client facing roleIf you have the relevant experience and this opportunity sounds interesting to you, please get in touch with a copy of your CV as soon as possible via the form below.We are committed to equality of opportunity for all.
