You’ll write, create, and edit thought leadership content and network with attorney authors. You will stay on top of the latest legal and practice developments to drive strategic development and delight customers. You will collaborate across functions to drive customer satisfaction and usage and to provide time-saving solutions to customers.ResponsibilitiesCollaborating in team initiatives and projects to support managers and other business partners (including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Product Managers)Aligning with strategy and goals of the business, managing end-to-end development of your practice area’s content and featuresCreating and updating authoritative, accurate, up-to-date, market-leading, polished practical insightsManaging external author content and developing author relationshipsLeveraging customer feedback to create the most useful legal content, tools, and resourcesMaintaining awareness of practice area trends and news to evolve the productUnderstanding the value proposition of Practical Guidance and representing the content and practice area within the organization and externallyRequirementsExperience in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as online legal researchHave J.D. or equivalent law degree and at least one bar accreditation in a U.S. jurisdiction (active and in good standing)Have proven relevant private funds/alternative investments practice at a large law firm and/or the legal department of a private investment firmHave subject matter expertise in U.S. investment management laws and other laws impacting private fundsPossess excellent writing and analytical skillsRecent experience in drafting client newsletters/alerts, law journal articles, practical guidance, CLE presentations, or other legal writing
