What You'll Do
Spotter's mission is to give creators access to tools, knowledge, community, and capital so their creativity can change the world. The Senior Data Analyst - Marketing Analytics plays a vital role in that mission by leading analysis and the quantitative strategy for the funnel of our Spotter Studio business. You will work closely with our marketing and product growth teams to surface key insights about user behavior, funnel dynamics and marketing channel effectiveness to shape the future of Spotter's game-changing tools and services for creators.
Responsibilities Build out marketing analytics for the Spotter Studio business Collaborate with marketing and product growth teams to establish measurement tools, document and communicate measurement logic, and democratize availability of product performance data Influence and establish strategies based on insights from our data Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track marketing performance, monitor key metrics, communicate insights and give recommendations to stakeholders Constantly monitor these metrics, investigating anomalies, coming up with theories and sharing insights and finding Partner with product, marketing and engineering to design measurement into new feature releases during requirements stage, prep and QA reports prior to launch, and follow up after launch Support product learning goals, deploy multivariate tests, and synthesize analytical results into practical recommendations that inform key business decisions Support data-driven decision-making processes, advocating for the use of analytics and empirical evidence in product decision-making Guide stakeholders in usage of reporting and analytics Who You Are
5 - 7 years of work experience in analytical/quantitative roles 4+ years experience with marketing analytics for SaaS / subscription-based products Churn and retention analysis experience Knowledge of and experience with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Heap, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics etc.) Deep knowledge and experience in digital marketing attribution Excellent communication and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences Strong proficiency using SQL and/or Python / R for ad-hoc analysis Proficient in PowerPoint and / or Google Slides Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues BS in a data/analytics, technical or math-oriented discipline Note: Due to the proliferation of similarly capable business products today, skills in equivalent products are acceptable
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing, conducting, and analyzing results from A/B multivariate tests Knowledge of YouTube and / or the Creator Economy Experience with data visualization tools in any of the following: Power BI TIBCO Spotfire Looker Tableau Why Spotter

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $150K-$170K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
