Evereve is seeking a Technical Designer with an eye for a great fit in women's bottoms, denim and jackets and the ability to drive product throughout the development and production stages. They will be passionate about the product and ensuring that we bring quality product to life for our Customer's unique needs, preferences, and lifestyles. They will work in partnership with our Design, Technical, Sourcing and Buying groups. The ideal person for this role has experience with woven bottoms and/or jackets, is a team player with exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, a strong creative problem solver, and has great organizational skills focused on attention to detail and follow-through.

Position Summary:
Responsible for understanding and communicating all fit and construction improvements. Will work closely with design partners to set and uphold all garment standards for design, development, and final production of Evereve and Branded exclusive woven bottoms, denim and jackets.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce tech packs for each style, containing detailed product specifications.Prepare samples for fit, including spec garments to determine spec compliance, visually checking the interior and exterior of the garment making sure fit direction, construction, and design intent were followed. Enter specs into the evaluation.Run fit sessions with live models to assess fit, proportion, and overall styling of garments, and review construction and workmanship.Provide detailed evaluations for each fit sample at all sample stages.Communicate directly with the vendor to ensure a proper understanding of corrections needed for the next sample stage.Create standard garment blocks and grading standards with tolerances for the 3 categories.Conduct wash tests to evaluate quality and fit as needed.Conduct quality and spec product audits from the store or warehouse and partner with merchants on an action plan to communicate to vendors.Stay abreast of benchmarks + aspirational competitors, market trends, and our floor, along with our Customer needs and preferences to identify recurring patterns and translate into high-quality, successfully fitting productParticipate in market research and quarterly team comp shopsRequirements
Associate degree or bachelor's degree in fashion and/or technical design3-5 years of experience in technical design including garment specifications, measurements and an understanding of garment construction - patterning is a plusWoven Bottoms and/or Jackets experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPointExcellent organization and communication skillsStrong strategic and critical thinking skillsProven relationship building skills; collaborative working styleAbility to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment which demands high quality and consistencyFlexible, creative thinker and rolls-up-sleeves.
