You have a can-do attitude, a customer-service approach, and enjoy leading a team and working collaboratively.About the RoleReporting into the Vice-President, Marketing, this position manages the marketing needs of 25 chapters, supervising a small talented team in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Hybrid and/or remote work is available.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a comprehensive system for tracking, organizing, and assessing needs and priorities for marketing campaigns, initiatives, materials, and events for 25 chapters across the country.Manage staff responsible for liaising with chapters across the country to get their marketing needs met. Mentor and develop talent within the team.Creatively brainstorm and strategize with chapter directors on their marketing requests, and oversee the execution from start to finish, directing and supervising the project. Projects may include but are not limited to event invitations, flyers, ads, local fundraising campaigns, webpages, and email communications.Regularly contribute to concepting, drafting, editing, updating, and disseminating marketing materials.Collaborate with the Creative Director, Graphic Designers, and other Marketing staff members.Uphold FIDF’s brand integrity throughout field marketing, including standard messaging, positioning, and visual identity, while customizing for local markets.Set and manage milestones for several dozen simultaneous projects, working within the department and cross-functionally to ensure all deadlines are met and projects are kept on schedule. Keep the Vice President, and other Marketing team members up-to-date and help them manage conflicting needs and resource shortages.Proactively plan and communicate status updates to our clients, manage project deliverables and timely follow ups. Troubleshoot issue areas and support marketing staff in setting and meeting project goals and deadlines.Bolster, formalize, and manage the organization’s review process of public-facing content for the field.Track, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of communications materials and initiatives, working with team members to assess areas for improvement and organize metrics to report impact.Manage timelines, coordination, and processes for producing, vetting, printing, and distributing print and digital materials to stakeholders.Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness of field marketing projects, gathering feedback and recommendations for improvement. Support a data-driven culture of continuous improvement throughout the entire organization.Track expenditures and prepare expense and reimbursement reports using Concur.QualificationsMinimum 7 years of project management, communications, or related organizing experience, with project lead and/or staff management responsibilities.Proven success leading a team.Exceptional copy writing, proofreading, and editing skills.Demonstrated ability to write with conviction, passion, warmth, and a sophisticated voice, as well as clearly and concisely.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Capable of multi-tasking, pivoting, problem-solving and meeting tight deadlines.Strong grasp of digital marketing, communications tools, and project management tools and strategies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness for team collaboration.Demonstrated ability to maintain a brand framework with an eye for sophisticated design, consistency, and powerful messaging.Experience with email marketing and utilizing content management systems.Resourceful, adaptable, and creative problem-solver in fast-paced settings.Strong judgment and ability to work independently.Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) was established in 1981 by a group of Holocaust survivors to provide for the wellbeing of the men and women who serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as well as veterans and the families of fallen soldiers.
