As a Senior Designer at Chobani, you will join a team that is responsible for how the Chobani brand is brought to life visually. You will help determine the overall style and tone of the brand across our packaging, digital, marketing communications and campaigns. We aspire to do work that is experimental and unexpected but powerful. In your role as a Senior Designer, quantity and quality equally matter. This means your core responsibility is to be a geyser of provocative ideas, expertly crafted.Responsibilities
Ensure all work is strategically sound, conceptually inspiring and creatively powerfulBe a hands-on design expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through implementationReinforce Chobani’s visual identity system and photography style and implement it into all design work, ranging from packaging to digital propertiesCollaborate with Integrated Production to ensure executional excellenceGenerate ideas; articulating and defending your point of view with the larger teamParticipate in dialogue about the work, encouraging debateElevate the imaginations, design references, and craftsmanship of the Brand Design teamYou are a systems thinker with the ability to craft pixel-perfect dynamic solutions for packaging, brand identity and webBring product innovation brand identities to life from concept through to marketBuild flexible design systems that allow the company to produce hardworking assets quickly and beautifully, thus, allowing the Brand Design team to focus their energies on more expansive and exciting creative opportunitiesOccasionally oversee and mentor entry level Designers on small to medium sized projectsRational understanding of how design solves for business objectivesA foundational understanding of print processesBe open to learning new processes and tools for creationGenerate content quickly and perfectly making sure to stick to deadlinesCollaborate with team members on various projectsRequirements
5+ years of design experience and bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of design experience and certification or equivalentExperience in ad agency/in house or marketing services preferredExpert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. 3D skills a plusAmbitious and eager to work at a larger scale without sacrificing craftsmanship or beautyProficient knowledge of standard design toolsConcept and idea-driven, whether that is starting with an original concept or retrofitting an existing oneSelf-propelled and not waiting for instructionOutspoken about your ideas while being able to accept internal and cross functional critiqueThrives in ambiguity and large amounts of autonomyCraft obsessedAbout Us Chobani is a food maker with a mission of making high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people, while elevating our communities and making the world a healthier place.
