Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Time type: Full timePosted on: Posted 12 Days AgoJob requisition id: R127386About the OpportunityJOB SUMMARY:The Digital Media and Web Manager supports Education Innovation’s Operations (EI Operations) Marketing and Communications Team and is responsible for creating, updating, tracking and measuring EI’s websites to help drive strategy decisions on the overall brand of the office and units we support. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Media and Web Manager will manage content creation and provide maintenance support for websites and intranets within the EI portfolio and social media platforms. The Digital Media and Web Manager will also collaborate directly with leadership across the EI division to advance each office's strategic goals. Working with the EI Operations team and, when needed, central Northeastern University Marketing and Communications, the Web Manager will maintain standards and guidelines for digital content and ensure software updates are effectively maintained.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Leads the development and implementation website plans. Ensures appropriate positioning and effective and consistent messaging across sites.Develops and implements web strategies and digital content that support promotion of the brand and awareness, including SEO.Develops and implements a KPI framework for web launches and overall site goals. Leads execution of websites and evaluates their effectiveness.Collaborates with Northeastern central and regional marketing teams to create cohesive web projects that support in-network mobility and global learning initiatives.Collaborates with EI departments to create innovative ways to engage under-represented learners in global opportunities on EI web platforms.Tracks ongoing web projects; provides status reports; assesses the effectiveness of efforts in normalizing and increasing demand for EI opportunities and achieving other stated EI programs’ goals.Develops and oversees the execution of all web projects for EI from start to finish (i.e. web renovations, web proposals, etc.).Manages vendor relationships and liaises between EI offices and IT, vendors, and central marketing to support websites.Provides trainings as needed to EI offices to support the management of their websites (i.e. updating website events calendar, blogs, simple content, etc.).Ensures alignment of EI websites with all other sites across the department.Identifies and monitors web analytics to advise on improvements.In collaboration with Marketing and Communications colleagues in EI Operations, ensures the mandated use of Northeastern brand alignment on all EI sites.Ensures cohesive design, layout, and content of EI websites.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of progressively responsible relevant experience.Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies.High degree of proficiency with internet and desktop software, WordPress, Google Analytics, and marketing and advertising tools. Working knowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft Office applications a plus.Creativity, including evidence of devising effective digital assets and web presence.Experience with website design, user experience and architecture, and SEO strategy development.Ability to proactively gain external industry knowledge and continued learning.Position Type:
