Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.We are looking for a skilled and experienced Technical Writer/Editor to join our team in support of the FAA's Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), Integrated Enterprise Services Platform (IESP), and National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.Key Responsibilities:Research, draft, and edit a variety of technical documents, including System Specifications and Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs), to support NAS systems.Manage and coordinate the development and updating of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) and Memoranda of Agreement (MOA).Collaborate with FAA Legal, Contracting Officers, and external partners to facilitate the document update and final signature process.Provide guidance on the NAS Change Proposal process for system changes.Establish and implement technical writing policies and procedures in line with FAA guidelines.Develop standard documentation methods to effectively communicate product and service concepts.Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field.A minimum of 16 years of relevant experience.Familiarity with NAS concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus.SEMCON offers a competitive salary and complete benefits package which includes health benefits (medical, dental, vision and life), 401K with a generous employer match, paid time off and paid holidays.This position is in the New Jersey (Atlantic City Airport area) with an onsite presence required and candidates should be within commuting distance.
