The role will play a key role within RISC-V and the broader RISC-V community with support from peers across RISC-V and The Linux Foundation.Top candidates will bring experience in vision and hands-on execution, across multiple domains of developer advocacy, community events, alliances, and regional community marketing with global brand consistency and turnkey resources to foster community engagement at all levels. Depth across marketing disciplines including AR/PR, marketing, events, online content cultivation, stakeholder engagement, and community development are essential. Candidate will be results oriented and able to track progress and pivot quickly to adopt industry best practices and course adjustment while managing and tracking initiatives within budgets, timelines, and priorities.ResponsibilitiesLocal and Regional Event Strategy & Calendar ManagementCoordination with and support local and regional community event leadersSupport marketing for the RISC-V Ambassadors and Advocates programsProvide global amplification, sponsorship, registration, and engagement support for local and regional eventsFull life cycle Promotion & Communication, cultivation of turnkey resourcesPost-event Analysis and ReportingIntegration of Education Initiatives Across Events, & Member Benefit programsInfluencer and Affiliate Partnership for GrowthLeverage marketing technology software and resources to expand and measure reach and impact of RISC-V content, preferred experience in Google Analytics & HubSpotEnsure adherence to branding and event guidelines, provide branding support to local organizersMarketing support for RISC-V Alliances program both through support of current members and growth of additional partnerships.Partner and coordinate with community stakeholders, external agencies, RISC-V, and Linux Foundation peers on:Community Event messaging and contentAR/PR and influencer strategiesWebsite strategy, content development and evolutionGlobal and regional strategies as well as industry specific engagementRelevant market researchKey Performance IndicatorsEvent ROI and NPS scoresTraining and certification Enrollment NumbersAlliances and Partner Program GrowthQualifications 8 years of progressive marketing experience in technical environmentsStrong understanding and technical acumen in microprocessors and related industry applicationsExperience in Developer Advocacy, local, and regional technical events and community buildingStrength in global relationship building and partner marketingAbility to engage and positively influence multiple stakeholdersExperience working with and energizing external communities on complex technical topicsProven campaign success promoting and supporting products that have developers as a customerExperience in modern marketing softwarePreferredExperience working with Open Source projects and communitiesAdvanced degree in a Marketing or related fieldVideo marketing experienceAdditional Information This position is employed by the Linux Foundation as a full-time role, dedicated 100% to RISC-V International. The Linux Foundation provides general management and operational services to RISC-V International to enable best in class operations and leadership support for RISC-V and its employees.The Linux Foundation is an all-remote workforce that hires top-notch talent.
