About The Role
Job Title:Senior Clinical Marketing Manager
Location:Palo Alto, CA
The Senior Clinical Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing clinical marketing strategy and plans, creating clinical marketing materials, and managing professional education programs. The clinical area scope is broad, including, but not limited to, radiology, neurology, neurointervention, critical care, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, and brain health. This person will work closely with several cross-functional partners, including the Clinical team, field clinical specialists, the sales team, the Chief Medical Officer, and other company leadership. This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Marketing Strategy and PlanningDevelop clinical marketing strategies to support commercial goals for driving global adoption and utilization of the Swoop system, including assessment of market impact of clinical claims and metrics.Work with the Clinical team on the development of a compelling body of clinical evidence supporting the use of portable MRI in the commercial space, e.g., hospitals, offices and beyond.Identify and implement a multi-channel clinical marketing plan with tactics to execute on clinical marketing strategy, including sales tools, promotion, and professional education programs.Work with the Clinical team to monitor and analyze key publications, trials, data, and conference presentations to extract key insights that inform and drive immediate and long-term commercial strategies globally.Clinical Marketing Materials and Sales Training
Develop clinical messaging around key clinical publications and presentations that contain data on the Swoop system and competitors.Create sales tools and communication for all relevant clinical publications to support deployment of clinical messaging through the commercial team, including summaries of clinical publications, discussion guides, brochures, presentations and digital content.Develop training to effectively educate the commercial team on the Swoop system's clinical data and clinical tools.Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for the commercial team on Swoop system clinical data and studies.Identify and execute on promotional opportunities for clinical messaging dissemination.Contribute to key tradeshow and congress activity by leading the development of the clinical messaging, education, and engagement of KOLs at these events.Professional Education Programs
Build deep relationships with current and emerging KOLs.Develop professional education plans and determine the most impactful programs to optimize budget while executing the clinical marketing strategy to support commercial goals. Scope to include webinars, peer-to-peer activities, virtual and in-person educational events, and conference events.Work with KOLs to develop clinical content for professional education programs.Create promotional materials for educational events and collaborate with the sales team on event recruitment.Knowledge & Skills:
Strong communication skills.Self-led in training and project oversight and execution.Ability to quickly learn and understand new disease states, medical diagnostic and treatment approaches, and advanced medical technologies.Strong analysis skills that translate into clear communication via messaging and visuals.Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders from multiple business units throughout the organization.Strong focus on healthcare compliance and integrity.Education/Experience Required:
Undergrad or masters/professional degree in life sciences.10+ years of industry experience in medical device, preferably in a neurological or imaging space.Previous experience working in the imaging industry and/or with radiologists, neuroradiologists, neurointensivists, neurointerventionalists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and/or neurodegenerative disease experts.Previous clinical marketing experience for a medical device company.Previous experience participating in the development of commercial value propositions for medical devices used in neurology.Previous experience working with and interpreting clinical data from trials, publications, and presentations.Previous experience developing and managing physician key opinion leaders and educational programs.Experience with international physicians and international commercial teams is preferred.Physical Demands:
This position is based out of Hyperfine's office in Palo Alto, CA.Ability to travel up to 25%.During product and procedural launches, be able to work long hours and execute under pressure with short turnaround times.For periodic customer-related activities and events, be available at nights and on weekends when needed.
