Location:PA-PittsburghJob Title: Commerical Designer - WPXI TVPosition OverviewWPXI TV Pittsburgh is seeking a talented commercial designer who can take the lead on graphics projects.We're in search of someone with a positive, can-do attitude who can collaborate with a talented and supportive group of producers.You will be surrounded by a team that wants to win, and values your expertise, passion and creativity. Applicants must include a demo link to be considered for the position.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign graphics for TV commercials and promos, sponsorships, digital, and other projects, as assigned.Must be able to finish projects for air with minimum supervisionRepresent the creative department with the highest quality production projects and professionalismGain a full understanding of projects and give input for creative solutionsOffer innovative and creative ideas that adds value to all projectsSeek input while managing projects to assure deadlines are metMulti-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree or 2 years equivalent work experienceMust have good work ethic and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to demonstrate a high level of creativity under tight deadlinesMay be responsible for other duties, as assignedAn eye for design, color and compositionExperience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop
Preferred Qualifications
Television, production, chyron and animation experience a plus
