Zantech is looking for an SAP Training Expert/Technical Writer, to play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and knowledge transfer related to SAP systems for our federal client.
As the SAP Training Expert/Technical Writer, you’ll collaborate with project teams, gather requirements, and create documentation that simplifies complex technical concepts for end-users. Your work will contribute to successful SAP implementations and enhance user proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Documentation Creation:
Write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for SAP processes, functionalities, and best practices.
Develop training materials, user manuals, process guides, and FAQs.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and validate content accuracy.
Training Content Development:
Create training modules, e-learning courses, and video tutorials.
Customize training content based on specific user roles and business processes.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Process Mapping and Visualization:
Translate complex SAP processes into visual diagrams, flowcharts, and infographics.
Illustrate system interactions, data flows, and decision points.
Use tools like Visio or Lucidchart for process visualization.
Quality Assurance:
Review and edit existing documentation to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Conduct usability testing of training materials.
Ensure compliance with company standards and branding guidelines.
Training Delivery:
Conduct SAP training sessions for end-users, both in-person and virtually.
Address user queries and provide hands-on guidance.
Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project teams, business analysts, and developers.
Participate in SAP implementation projects, providing insights on training requirements.
Coordinate with change management teams to ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Technical, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as SAP, ITIL, DFSS, ACCA, APICS, PMP, S4HANA, AWS, or GCP are advantageous.
Skills:
Strong understanding of SAP business processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with access controls and accounting processes.
Experience with data conversion tools like LSMW.
Experience:
At least 4-5 years of experience working on SAP projects.
Hands-on involvement in the implementation of at least 2 full-cycle SAP projects (from initiation to closure).
