Let’s build!The Role:We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer with a primary emphasis in packaging to join our growing marketing team. As a Junior Packaging Designer, you will work directly with the design team, reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer. You’ll play an integral role in crafting visually captivating assets to enhance our customers’ experiences. Your primary responsibility will involve assisting in the creation of packaging artwork, where you’ll be pivotal in shaping and applying branding elements onto packaging dielines, and a whole lot more. Because of this, proficiency in packaging dielines and layouts are a plus! To succeed at a company like Reduce, you must be comfortable with failing, learning, and adapting. If this sounds like you, we’d love to meet you!What You’ll Do:Assist in developing visually appealing packaging designs that align with Reduce’s brand identity, values, and target audience. They should effectively communicate the essence, benefits, and uniqueness of our products.Incorporate signature color palettes, typography, and visual elements into packaging designs to maintain brand consistency.Assist the team in designing a variety of assets, including, but not limited to product color renderings, slide designs, information graphics, in-store displays, ads, mood boards, etc.Apply artwork, typography, and imagery to packaging dielines.Prepare final, print-ready files based on specifications.Stay current on design, photography, and packaging trends.Photoshop & retouch images as needed.Apply patterns and designs to product artwork templates.Demonstrate flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.Work closely with the creative & marketing team to understand brand guidelines, project requirements, and strategic objectives ensuring adherence to timelines and delivering high-quality designs.Effectively communicate design ideas, inspiration, and rationale to ensure alignment with the team.About You:Minimum of two years’ experience in a design-related role.Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have exceptional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel).Familiarity with all design principles and techniques.Exceptional team working skills.Local candidates only - must be able to commute to office (hybrid model).Portfolio of work is required.Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within our exciting company.
