We are looking for someone who will be:
A walking Wiki of Unix (past & present)
– You can not only recall minutiae from decades of HP-UX, but you also understand what is happening now and what is key to Stromasys as a brand.

Requirements Qualifications:
Unix system administration experience (5+ years)
Proven experience as a Field Engineer specializing in HP-UX and Solaris.
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
Experience with system installation, configuration, and administration.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and travel to client sites as required.
Experience with network protocols and services.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization.
Certifications relevant to HP-UX and Solaris systems.
These Additional Skills Are a Bonus:
Software/hardware migration projects experience
Experience in system administration of the following:
Major plus: SUN Solaris, versions 2.x – 10
Plus: OpenVMS for VAX, Alpha, and Integrity, versions 4.5 - 8.4
Tru64 UNIX, versions 3.x - 5.x
HP MPE-ix, versions 6.0 - 7.5
System and network troubleshooting experience in mixed Windows/Linux/Solaris/HP-UX/VMS/Tru64/SAN environment
Understanding and system management experience of virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
Understanding and system management experience of LAN network technologies
Understanding and system management experience of storage technologies (SAN/NAS/iSCSI)
Understanding and management experience with various application stacks: Oracle, Sybase, RDB, etc.
Spanish language skills
