Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.The Graphic Producer will be responsible for the creation of graphic elements which include written/visual content under tight deadlines in a live broadcast environment including but not limited to a control room.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the content producers to find innovative ways to enhance the on-air content with graphic elements.

Responsible for the creation of the graphic elements in INews.

Work hand in hand with the graphic department to get the latest graphic look for on-air and have knowledge of the latest graphic technologies.

Check and review graphics for grammar, spelling, clarity, and impact under tight deadlines during live productions.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Research, write and resume content using graphics elements.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Degree in communication, graphic design, and/or production.

Minimum 3 years' experience in television production or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.

General computer skills: Microsoft Office, iNews and Avid MediaCentral.

Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).

Eligibility Requirements:

Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends.

Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.

Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area.

Must be 18 years or older.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

Desired Characteristics:

Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization.

Proven excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story.

Creative and highly organized.

Detail oriented.
