The Production Manager, Audio Visual (AV) will be responsible for the seamless management of customer audio visual needs and production.Essential Job DutiesFrom the time of assignment throughout the entirety of our client relationship ensure the following:

Maintain positive interaction with the clientMutually establish use of the Critical Path with clients and diligently use the Critical Path to manage and fulfill our Blue Diamond commitmentsRespond to all emails in a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours of receipt

Ensure accuracy and upkeep of planning within the IntelliEvent systemPrepare all room diagrams to communicate design requirements for scenic, in-room layout, rigging, and any other client diagram requestWork with Production Coordinator to procure all cross-rental items or any requests that must be met through outside vendorsManage the communications with facility staff to maximize operational efficiency and client expectationsContract with outside labor as needed, including freelancers, local labor companies, and union laborCreate a production schedule to communicate on-site needs and level-set expectations with facilities, clients, and internal customersCoordinate with 3rd party service (power, internet, rigging, etc.)Manage the project financially keeping in mind the following:

Maintain expected marginsHousing costsTransportation expenseWork with Sales to ensure accurate billing

Collaborate closely with Shepard Exposition Service team members or any other contractor to deliver Blue Diamond serviceAchieve all agreed upon expectations of our clients, both quantity and quality of services delivered as committedObtain all known requirements from clients and sales with an acceptable planning time frameReact to any onsite changes with a positive attitude and provide Blue Diamond service with a sense of urgencyEnsure freelancers adhere to company standards of conduct and appearance as well by conducting on-site briefings with AV teamAll other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in relevant field; related experience within the AV space may be exchanged for formal educationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate Core Values of Caring, Commitment, Integrity, Spirit, Responsiveness, Inclusive, and TeamworkAbility to perform as a responsible ESOP owner making daily decisions to benefit the client and the companyTreat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in our Blue Diamond Customer Service ProgramShepard AV is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
