Works with the Director of Solutions, EVP of Operations and Solutions, and Senior Proposal Manager to write technical approaches for proposals in response to Task Order Requests and Requests for Proposals.Must have strong writing skills and be able to create new content or discover and synthesize existing content to document a solution.Knowledge Required:Agile / Scaled Agile implementationApproaches for management of development teamsExperience writing proposal content that includes specific solicitation requirements, proposal win themes, discriminators, and the features/benefits of our management approachAbility to work on deadlines and take editorial feedback to make changes to content to align with win themes and strategiesAbility to create rough-sketch original diagrams and figures to communicate ideas; a graphic artist will be provided to finalize solutionsCapability of analyzing a Statement of Work, schedule, and deliverables/milestones to produce a hierarchical project planUnderstanding of the process for resource loading the project plan to develop a bottom-up estimate for schedule and costThis requirement does NOT extend to a fully blown Earned Value Management (EVM) solutionAbility to identify the customer benefits of our technical approaches and express those benefits within the proposal content5+ years experience as a technical proposal writer is preferredOpportunities for advancement to Capture Manager are availableRequired Skills:5+ years of Proposal Writing experienceComfortable and able to work on multiple proposals at once in a fast-paced environmentAbility to research, organize, write, edit, and produce technical proposalsHigh attention to detailUnderstanding of Agile DevelopmentExcellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and communicate across multiple departments effectivelyStrong computer skills and technical experience required, including Adobe Suite and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Excellent English language, grammar, and spelling skills for writing, editing, and proofreadingDesired Skills:Experience in government procurementEvidence of successful support to large competitive proposals valued at more than $50mFormal proposal writing training and/or certifications (e.g., Shipley) preferredUnderstanding of Section 508 and ability to analyze and correct documents for compliancePreferred knowledge of Cloud technologies (specifically AWS), DevSecOps, including security technologies, CI/CD processes, and other modern approaches to software developmentEducation/Experience Level:Associates and/or Bachelor’s Degree in a related area, such as English, communications, or marketingPlease send your resume to
