You will work with a team of experimental scientists, engineers, and communicators to distill complex plasma physics and electrical engineering data into digestible documentation to improve full system understanding among technical audiences. With skills in technical and science writing, you will build an internal resource library, contribute to technical blog posts, and draft portions of technical patents for Helion's groundbreaking fusion technology. You will report to the Director of Communications and this is a hybrid role located at our Everett, WA office.

You Will:

Publish internal educational documents that support system understanding for technical team members based on work from our research and experimental teams

Write technical blog posts that improve public understanding around Helion's magneto-inertial fusion technology

Write portions of critical patents to protect core Intellectual Property

Provide in-depth technical reviews on internal and external communications

Required Skills:

Bachelor's or higher in Physics, Math, or Engineering, plus technical experience in relevant fields (electrical engineer or plasma physics)

4+ years of experience with evaluating circuit designs, and understanding experimental results

Substantial skills in science or engineering communication and education, both written and oral

The pay range for this position is $100k-$155k/year. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.
