The candidate will work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure Amazon's packaging is best-in-class through co-creation and optimization.

Develop, test, and refine new packaging designsCreate detailed packaging specificationsProduce reports on packaging performanceParticipate in or lead meetings to ensure developments meet benchmarks for customer experience, supply chain, and sustainabilityTravel to engage with customers, supply chain, labs, and vendors
About the team The Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team works to develop automated solutions and sustainable packaging across Amazon's operations, focusing on end-to-end customer experience and eliminating waste.
Minimum Requirements
BA in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering or similar 4 year packaging or industrial design degree5+ years experience in paperboard/corrugated designProven experience in Artios CAD, Adobe, Solidworks and/or other design toolsDemonstrated understanding of paperboard materials (Kraft, CRB, FBB, Linear, Mediums)Proven track record of creative package designUnderstanding of packaging testing, materials, and processesKnowledge of sustainability, recycling, and regulationsIndustry association participation
