Applylocations: Dallas, TX, UStime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: R-13722Your RoleAs a Gensler Technical Designer, it’s your job to work with a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build.What You Will DoManage client, team, and project coordination, including full construction documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, civil, and other consultants for hospitality and related projects.

Support communication between the project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.

Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.

Provide code expertise for the project and the team.

Maintain and write project manual and specifications.

Conduct Construction Administration duties like documenting site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs during construction.

Your QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

5+ years of project experience in hospitality design within an architectural practice.

Registered architect preferred; or in process.

Experience with Revit required; experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office encouraged.

Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.

LEED accreditation preferred.

Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview.
