Learn more about living in Columbia, MO.EMPLOYEE BENEFITSHealth, vision, and dental insurance coverage starting day oneGenerous paid leave and paid time off, including 9 paid holidaysMultiple retirement options, including 100% match up to 8% and full vesting in three yearsTuition assistance for employees (75%) and immediate family members (50%)Discounts on cell phone plans, rental cars, gyms, hotels, and more.See a comprehensive list of benefits here.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMonitor and manage all workflows within creative content production and provide guidance and direction to the creative content team to ensure a consistent high level of quality and efficient workflow.Supervise and produce a broad range of creative content projects including advertising, blog posts, articles, web pages, social media copy and other promotional materials.Review and edit creative content team materials to ensure brand consistency, accuracy and alignment with audience needs and interests.Contribute to content strategy development and collaborate with marketing strategists, designers and other communicators across departments to recommend and develop content strategies that effectively create engagement and drive conversion.Utilize a variety of sources including market and consumer research, industry trends, subject matter experts and industry terminology to inform key messaging and accuracy in writing.Interview physicians, health care administration professionals and patients to incorporate a unique and informative perspective into custom-written health and wellness articles.Maintain integrity of MU Health Care brand through written and visual presentation. Provide consultation and guidance to internal and external constituents on correct use of the MU Health Care voice for both internal and external use.Develop, coordinate, and maintain daily staffing schedules to ensure the appropriate level of unit coverage and continuity of care.Monitor time and attendance in alignment with MU Health Care policies and practices, ensuring accuracy of records and timely submittal/approval for payroll purposes.May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or healthcare administration, or a related field.Three (3) years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in healthcare, hospitality, or service sectors.Experience in a writing and editing role.Experience in a supervisor or leadership role.Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.Equal Opportunity Employer
