The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has had hands-on experience growing traffic from organic search through on-page and off-page strategies, and is a master of the long-tail.
Create a robust search engine optimization strategy for Brady's North America websites - specifically Seton and Emedco, including a roadmap of initiatives to drive growth.Lead keyword research and maintain targets with up-to-date volumes and competition.Optimize on-page SEO: landing page ideation, keyword gap analysis to take advantage of whitespace opportunity, metadata optimization and redirects.Optimize Organic shopping experience for high value searches via Merchant Center, product schema and other SEO tactics.Work with technology teams to optimize site infrastructure for crawlers including schema markup, javascript crawlability and site speed.Collaborate with cross-functional business partners (Site Merchandising, Engineering, UX, Design and Product) to implement SEO best practices, and leverage cross-functional insights in planning and program development.Oversee backlink strategy by ensuring maximum coverage, identifying new opportunities and rectifying unlinked mentions.Develop scalable SEO strategies that can cross multiple brands.Dive into issues and incidents as they occur, perform ad hoc analyses as needed, and/or help escalate them to drive to resolution.Learn and be curious to stay on top of trends and best practices; stay up to date with white hat SEO tactics, AI tools and content creation to stay within search engine guidelines.Advocate for a seamless user experience for customers who are finding us through search.
