Requisition Name: Visual DesignerAtlanta, GA - HybridEstimated Duration:09/30/2024-09/30/2025LocationPosition Location: HybridAddress: 72 Marietta Street, 4th FL, Atlanta, GeorgiaJob Title: Visual DesignerSuppliers - please note that a sample portfolio and a cover letter are required from each candidate for them to be considered for this contract.Job Summary:The IT Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking a highly skilled Visual Designer to establish a cohesive and professional branding identity that reflects the expertise, commitment, and innovation of the IT Project Management team.This role will be instrumental in developing a consistent visual identity across various documents and communication channels, including presentations, reports, email banners, and other project-related materials.The ideal candidate will also support change management strategies by creating visual aids that effectively communicate and facilitate adopting new processes and systems.Key Responsibilities:Visual Identity Development:Create a visually appealing and consistent branding identity that aligns with the team's values and DWM's branding guidelines.Develop branding elements such as color schemes, typography, logo usage, and graphical motifs to be integrated across all PMO materials.Template Design:Design and develop customizable presentation templates to ensure consistency and professionalism in project updates, pitches, and internal communications.Create templates for stakeholder weekly/monthly reports that are visually engaging and streamline the communication of project progress.Design meeting minutes templates and new project intake forms that are user-friendly and aligned with the branding identity.Communication & Change Management Support:Create visual aids that support change management strategies, including infographics, process diagrams, and other graphical elements that aid in understanding and adopting new processes.Develop email banners and other communication materials reinforcing the team's brand identity in every interaction.Collaboration & Feedback:Work closely with project managers, executives, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring that the visual designs meet the needs of all involved parties.Iterate on designs based on feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and appeal of the PMO's visual materials.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field.Proven experience in visual design, branding, or a related role, preferably within a corporate or IT environment.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to create cohesive visual identities.Experience in developing visual aids that support change management strategies is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.Experience working in a project management office (PMO) or IT department.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Application Process:Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter detailing your experience and how you can contribute to the IT PMO's branding and communication goals.QualificationsType Category Qualification Description Competency RequiredSkills Design Adobe Photoshop NoSkills Design AJAX NoSkills Design Auto CAD NoSkills Design CSS NoSkills Design DHTML NoSkills Design Dreamweaver NoSkills Design HTML DOM NoSkills Design JSF NoSkills Design JSP NoSkills Design Microsoft Exchange Server NoSkills Design PHP NoSkills Design Ruby on Rails NoSkills Design User Experience Design (UX) No
