Responsibilities

• Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance• Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies• Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods• Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand• Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies

Qualifications

• Prior hotel sales experience required• Prior Director or assistant experience• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role• High diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree preferably in marketing or hospitality• Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department• Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
