Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Communicate fit intent and construction to vendors through detailed fit comments, pattern diagrams, pattern corrections, and digital imagesAssist in sketching technical flats for women's and baby apparelTake detailed fit notes and photos of samples during fittings to facilitate comment writingHelping to build library spec items in PLMSupport baby and women's technical team in preparing samples and contributing in fit sessions, identifying potential production, quality, and costing issues and proactively making effective recommendationsAssist in measuring and preparing garments with accuracy before fit sessionsCreating HTM templates in PLM for new and existing stylesRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design or related fieldProficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft SuiteStrong pattern making skillsKnowledge of technical design gradingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain and build relationships with overseas vendorsHigh level of creativity paired with strong understanding of the Mud Pie aestheticUnderstanding of entire design and product development processAbility to work on deadlines and juggle multiple projects at onceOrganization with a dedication to details and final product qualityFlexibility and a positive attitude under pressureStrong written and verbal presentation skill
