Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Job Duties:Work in collaboration with architects, landscape designers & interior designers, under direction of Sr. level graphic designer to originate & develop environmental graphics, signage design, wayfinding concepts, drawings, renderings & 3-D virtual models illustrating conceptual design options for presentation to internal teams, external consultants & project owners. Project types include corporate offices, educational environments, high-end retail, mixed-use, hospitality & high-rise multi-family housing buildings.Support architects & interior designers on concept presentation layout for project bidding; presentations include previous case studies, resumes, improved colored plans, drawings & virtual reality renderings.Prepare illustrations, drawings & concept presentations for environmental graphics, signage design, wayfinding projects utilizing the firm’s software products, including Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator) & CAD tools; illustrations & presentations include inspiration images, elevation drawings & virtual reality renderings.Work in collaboration with & under direction of associate & senior level designers to prepare detailed scaled drawings, location plans & message schedules for signage design & wayfinding projects.Participate in different phases of design process: concept design, design development, construction documentation illustrating aesthetic & functional requirements of the design through production of detailed briefs for construction and detailed scaled drawings.Support graphic design & photography on internal marketing & social media.Provide code research, signage location plans & signage mounting elevation drawings review assistance to ensure signage design & wayfinding compliance with federally mandated 2010 American Disabilities Standards for Accessible Design.Coordinate with architects & interior designers to confer design & material selection that meet client’s expectations on aesthetic & function of the signage & graphics on exterior architecture & in interior environment. Specify materials & fabrications in construction documentation for associate level graphic designer to review. Request material samples based on design from consultants & vendors.Attend coordination meetings with architects, interior designers, consultants & vendors and/or client interface throughout the project; manage work of the team geared towards submittals.Advise clients on design factors such as branding, color, imagery, typography & composition, fabrication & material selection. Present signage design & environmental graphic concept presentation & design development to clients, architects & interior designers for feedback. Review feedback with associate level graphic designer to have design options approval & project completion.Assist associate level graphic designer in the project goals & schedules. Provide preliminary signage location plans, signage quantities & budget allowance for schematic design & design development.Prepare final production art; review shop drawings from vendors. Monitor & inspect implementation of environmental graphic design, signage design & wayfinding & specialty installation to ensure adherence to the design plan & its compliance with federally mandated 2010 American Disabilities Standards for Accessible Design.Job Requirement:At least a Bachelor's degree in Art Design, Fine Arts, Interior Design, or related fields plus at least one year of post-baccalaureate experience working as a Graphic designer, Interior designer, or similar positions in an Architectural/Interior Design Service firm. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. Experience to include working on signage design and wayfinding, hospitality signage, corporate office environmental graphics projects, development of renderings, development of 3D virtual models, construction documentation, detailed scaled drawings, location plans and message schedules, concept presentation; working with Enscape, SketchUp, CAD tools, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator).Hours:
