The College of Indigenous Studies (CIS) at UAF is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. To thrive in the role as Marketing and Communications Manager at the College of Indigenous Studies, you’ll need to be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of higher education marketing trends. You should know how to leverage market research, social media, and traditional media for impactful marketing campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with technical expertise in design and digital platforms, will help you build relationships and drive the success of CIS’s communications efforts. Adaptability and creativity are key, as you'll be managing multiple projects that require both big-picture vision and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience relevant to the program, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic communication plans, media relations, website development, social media management, graphic design, and publication production.Demonstrated experience in advertising and organic and inorganic marketing strategy.Advanced computer skills.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, AK. This is a full-time, term-funded, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
