We are seeking a Video Editor for Social Media to join our client's collaborative social media creative team. As the Social Media Video Editor, you will shoot, edit, and produce high-quality short form :15, :30, and :60 second videos for various social media platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Meta, X, etc. The Video Editor will collaborate with the brand and creative teams to develop video concepts and take ownership of video projects from start to finish including shooting content, editing videos, and post-production. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) to edit videos, add visual effects, create motion graphics, and enhance overall video quality. This position is hybrid in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a 6-month freelance assignment that is 40 hours weekly.

Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.Responsibilities:Edit short form (:15, :30, :60 sec.) social media videos for various social media platforms including TikTok, Meta, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, etc.Shoot, edit, and produce social media and digital content as well as create creative assets for short form videos and advertisements.Collaborate with the account team to assess project vision, expectations, timing, and needs.Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the videos.Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.Create rough and final cuts.Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.Required Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in filming and editing short videos for social media.Videography skills to shoot content are highly preferred.4+ years of content creation experience for social media.Experienced in creating short form social media videos for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, X, YouTube, etc.Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, to create visually appealing and engaging videos.Strong knowledge of video production techniques, lighting, audio recording, and post-production processes.Excellent storytelling and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.Portfolio showcasing short form videos and social media samples.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
