Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Experience:
Proven track record of successful grant writing and fundraising, ideally within the healthcare, children’s causes, or non-profit sectors.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Strong research and analytical skills.Ability to independently manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with grant management software.What You'll Do as a Grant Writer:Research and Identification:
Identify and research potential funding sources focused on healthcare, pediatric cardiac care, and children’s causes.Proposal Development:
Write and develop compelling grant proposals and supporting documents that align with funding requirements.Collaboration:
Partner with leadership and program staff to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with strategic goals.Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with grant requirements and prepare timely reports detailing project progress and outcomes.Database Management:
Maintain records of past, current, and future funding opportunities in a grants management database.Relationship Building:
