Job Summary:The Marketing Manager will play a critical role within a large medical group, overseeing a variety of marketing and communications activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, enhancing the patient experience, and supporting business growth. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing health plan and open enrollment events, developing and maintaining digital and print marketing materials, managing the group's online presence and reputation, and acting as a liaison with internal teams and contracted vendors. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across departments to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute health plan and open enrollment events, collaborating with internal stakeholders, health plans, and vendors to ensure successful event promotion, patient engagement, and brand visibility.
Website Development & Management: Oversee the development and continuous optimization of the medical group’s website to improve user experience, enhance content delivery, and support the organization's business goals.
Marketing Collateral Creation: Develop and maintain marketing materials such as brochures, provider directories, newsletters, and other print and digital collateral to support business development and patient education.
Reputation Management & Patient Testimonials: Monitor and enhance the medical group’s online reputation by overseeing patient feedback channels, gathering and promoting positive patient testimonials, and managing online review sites to ensure a positive digital presence.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website traffic and search rankings, collaborating with internal and external teams to optimize content, keywords, and meta-data.
Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the medical group and contracted marketing vendors, including digital marketing agencies, print vendors, and graphic designers, ensuring alignment with marketing goals, brand standards, and project timelines.
Content Development & Campaigns: Create compelling content for digital and print channels, develop and execute marketing campaigns to support organizational goals, and ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities, providing regular reports on ROI and campaign effectiveness, and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Compliance & Brand Standards: Ensure all marketing materials and communications are compliant with regulatory standards, healthcare guidelines, and the organization’s brand standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments including patient services, health plans, business development, and clinical teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts and support cross-functional goals.
Other Duties as Assigned: Adapt to evolving business needs and perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing/Communications.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
3+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the healthcare industry or a large medical group setting.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with digital marketing tools, SEO best practices, and content management systems (CMS).
Experience in event planning, website management, and creation of marketing collateral.
Ability to analyze data and create reports to measure marketing campaign effectiveness.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Familiarity with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare marketing, patient communications, and event coordination.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices in health plan marketing.
